Purpose and Selection Criteria: Students must meet the following criteria:  

1. Competitive application process.
2. A degree seeking student continuing at the University/College.
3. Must be continuously enrolled for at least 15 credit hours, in good standing at the College/University.
4. Currently maintains a required minimum cumulative unweighted GPA: 3.8 based on a 4.0 scale each semester.
5. Grade Level – Undergraduate student.
6. Students must show commitment to excellence and personal leadership development.
7. Currently participating in leadership development activities, such as internships, externships, mentoring, and other extracurricular activities. 
8. All students are expected to maintain full-time enrollment throughout their Fall and Spring semesters of the academic year in which the award is granted.  
9. Formal application with essay questions and interview.
